” Roll With It ” & Get The Muscles Kinks Out !

When you exercise, you sometimes experience some aches and pains. At least  I know I do. I run everyday and hit the gym occasionally to keep fit and healthy. With doing all of that, my legs, thighs, and glutes get sore …real sore. A couple of years ago ,I bought some electronic contraption that would dig into my muscles in an attempt to alleviate the muscle pains I had. It felt okay at the time, but it didn’t really help target the muscle pain that I had.

Today, I have found a simpler, easier, method to alleviate muscle kinks, tightness, and or soreness that you may incur while working out. It’s a simple foam roller , and it wow does it ever work at helping make the pain go away !

Rolling With A Foam Roller

“Are you tired of sore and tight muscles preventing you from performing at your best? Does the tightness in your muscles interfere with your sleep or other daily activities? Stretching alone won’t get all the tightness out of your muscles, and there are some parts of the body that stretching can’t help. That’s when you need really good foam roller.   Most foam rollers are the perfect length for full back therapy. The soft outer surface combined with the firm core provides a gentle sustained pressure into your muscle tissue to eliminate pain and improve mobility and flexibility. Rollers can be used by anyone from beginners to professional athletes, and can stand up to even the heaviest users.”

Why use a foam roller?Self-myofascial release, or “foam rolling,” is a self-massage technique that releases muscle tightness and relieves the pain of trigger points. By applying pressure to specific points on the body you are able to aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function. Normal function means your muscles are elastic, healthy, and ready to perform at their absolute best. Since I have been my two rollers these past months, the Rolling With It foam roller and the RockNRoller foam roller, I have been able to get better stretching for my muscles and for me, that equals better and sometimes quicker recovery from my work outs. And that also results in me being able to work out more often and get quicker results. One of my favorite foam rollers to use is the RockNRoller. It’s textured, so it gives you even more effect when you use it.
