Tricias-List Post Honey Bunches Of Oats Tropical Blends

I had the pleasure of being one of the lucky insiders who were able to review the new cereal blend, and it is good.Very good. Now,I did have one “con” about it and I will mention it in this brief review. But for now, let’s talk about the good things.

When I first opened the box/package,I was greeted with a nice, sweet scent of honey, coconut and mango. It was an awesome scent to smell;it reminded me of and took me back to the 3 years I lived in Hawaii, when the pineapple fields were ripe and you could smell them from all around.

I opened the bag and began to pour just a small cup of cereal into my bowl. The serving size is -.

At first glance ,Tropical Blends looks like any other Post Honey Bunches Of Oats cereal. But,there are a couple of differences in this one. For instance, the clusters are not just oaks and nuts.Nope.This time you have mango and coconut in the clusters, which makes for a distinct and flavorful tropical taste.

The second thing I noticed was the cereal flakes. They are the same as usual, which I really don’t like,I think that the flakes get soggy too quickly (my “con”),and I am “stay crunchy til the end” type of cereal eater. But with the clusters added, the cereal still has a little bit of crunch.

I also noticed there were real flakes of coconut in the cereal I enjoyed that aspect.I like knowing that there are real fruit inside my cereal,so Post gets an “A” for that. Add all of those factors together… the tropical smell ,the delicious mango and coconut infused clusters AND the cereal flakes with real coconut flakes added, and you’ve got yourself a real tropical-like breakfast. Now, all you need to do is add some SPAM ,a slice of pineapple, and an “Island Egg”,and you’re living Aloha, Wahine !
