An Intro To Luvo
As a MomsMeet Blogger, I have amazing opportunities opened to try new healthy and green products. I have seen Luvo products showing up more and more in the grocery stores that I frequent, and my interest was steadily piquing about them. How convenient was it that MomsMeet offered me this chance to the brand this month?! Once I was notified that I was selected to blog about Luvo, I immediately went to Giant (my local store) and went searching for the products. I found the following:
The meals are not like your average frozen meals. They don’t come in a plastic sectioned tray, and they aren’t covered with a plastic film that you poke holes into. The meal is in a steamable bag! You simply place the bag in your microwave, and heat 5-7 according to the directions. Then, you open the bag (from the side where it says “cut here”). After cutting the bag open, slide (yes, slide) your meal onto your plate and VOILA! You get a healthy, delicious, pretty eye appealing meal. NOTE– my first trying the meals, my food came out not so good looking. But the rest of the times eating Luvo, the meals plated beautifully. See the photos below:
The meals taste amazing, in my opinion. I would prefer that the veggies hold a little more firmness with you steam them. But all in all, the flavor is very good. I even craved to have more brussel sprouts…and that is a big thing, lol!
