It’s 2014 and that means a new year and new resolutions for everyone to achieve ! I know that one of my resolutions every year to myself is to be healthier and participate in more health concious activities. Activities like walking ,jogging ,and yes ,even running (trust me there is a difference between jogging and running) ! Luckily for me, I was given a great opportunity by the awesome people at KoolerBuy.com. They offered me the chance to review not one,but TWO of their Heart Rate Watches,and I am very excited to share information on the product with you !
The name of the watch I was given is Pellor Red Waterproof Pulse Fitness Heart Rate Calorie Burn Unisex Sports Wrist Watch. Yeah, I know it’s a long name,huh ?! I also was given the same watch in the color Blue; I tend to like to color coordinate with my workout outfits (it’s a girl thing,lol) ! In this review, I will be giving you my opinion on how well the watch works and I will be sharing (or trying to share) actual video of me walking and jogging so that you can see for yourself what the watch does/works. I’m excited to do this review,so without further ado …let’s Gooooooo !
My Pellor Experience !
I have received my TWO Pellor Pulse Fitness Watches today,and I am already impressed just by the design. The packaging was nothing to be desired,but the actual product looks stellar! If you look at my personal photos of the watches , you can see that there are a total of 4 buttons on the watch (three on the left side and 1 on the right) . ***Random thought ;never mind how big the watch looks on my wrist;I have tiny wrist ,so any watch looks huge on me ! *** The 3 buttons on the right are for the following options – Reset, Mode, and Time Setup. The “Reset” button is exactly that. It resets the times/data that has been collected during your allotted exercise/running routine. It also resets the data telling you how many calories you have burned after your run. The “Mode” button has a number of features to it. These features are the Alarm feature , the Chron feature, the Exercise feature , and the Pulse feature.
The alarm feature gives you the option of setting a time for an alarm or as I use it , a “wake up call”. When the alarm goes off, it sends off a series of beeps just like an alarm clock would,only not as loud.
The Chron feature ..To me, it seems to be a stopwatch feature of sorts. Watch the upcoming video that I will be making showing the Pellor Pulse Fitness Watch in action for more details on that.
The Exercise feature is a time keeper as well. It keeps a time of how long you have been exercising and I think it uses that time of your exercise and creates a formula to determine how many calories you have burned during your exercise. How does the Pellor do this? Well, when you first set up your watch for use, you will be prompted to enter information about yourself like your DOB and weight. Then, the watch calculates using that information to give you your calories burned AND your Pulse rate, which is the next feature that is available on the Pellor. Which finally leads us to the last button, the ST/STP button.
ST/STP stands for STOP. This button also lets you set the time,date,day,and allows you to enter your weight and DOB for calorie counting/pulse rate . If you don’t want to enter this information,you don’t have to,but I think it helps in getting accurate calculations done.
I have been using my Pellor Fitness watch for about 3 days now,and I really like it .It’s a motivator for me to get up and exercise, because you know… you don’t have to be an athlete to exercise and you don’t have to follow someone else’s routine. You can make your own according t what is good for you and your body,and every bit you do,no matter how much or little .. HELPS. That’s just my tidbit of motivation for you today !

How it works:
- When you first open your Calorie Watch and begin to set the date and time, you will also set your age, weight and sex. This information is stored in the watch\’s memory.
- When you begin exercising, you simply start the watch\’s internal counter.
- When you are finished, you simply stop the counter, press SET, and touch the sensor once.
- Based on your preset information, the time on the counter, and your heart rate, the calorie watch is able to determine how many calories you have burned during your workout. More details are shown in the English Manual (Included)

One week and two days later …
I am really enjoying my Pellor fitness watch. I can keep track of so many things health-wise while I am exercising or working out now,and it is motivating for me to keep going and not give up.
