Mmmmm … Easy To Do Peppermint Sugar Scrub !

Spa Days …at home !

Do you love the way your skin feels after a long day at the spa of after you use a sugar scrub for your body? You know that feeling…when your body is all soft and smooth and luxurious ? I know I love that feeling. Unfortunately, most of us can’t afford to go and spend the extra cash for that Spa Day,which can cost from $50 to $150 bucks..sometimes even more. And that is why I am going to share an easy way to treat yourself at home. It’s a recipe for your own Peppermint Body Scrub. MMMMM!

Earlier in the year ,I shared a recipe for a brown sugar scrub (which I LOVE) and a lot of you really enjoyed it,so now I am going to share a new recipe with you. It’s super easy to make and you only need 3 ingredients. Here it is …

peppermint sugar scrub (1) peppermint sugar scrub (7) peppermint sugar scrub sugar scrub

Peppermint Foot Scrub

1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 Carrier Oil to mix into your scrub (I use grape seed oil because it colorless)
A few drops of peppermint essential oil

peppermint sugar scrub (2)   peppermint essential oil

  1. Pour the granulated sugar into a mixing bowl or jar of your choice, and then carefully and gradually add your grape seed oil. Mix together until you have a slightly wet, but grainy consistency (really, whatever looks good to you, but I find that when you have a scrub that is saturated with oil, it takes away the exfoliating effect).
  2. Add a few drops of peppermint essential oil and mix through the scrub. Transfer the scrub to an airtight bottle or jar so that you can use on any occasion. I suggest using plastic jars like these because they you can buy them in bulk and they are really pretty to display,in my opinion.

See? It’s that simple and you can make the scent strength as strong or as faint as you like. So,what are you waiting for? Go treat yourself today !! NOTE: If you wanted to make other scents for your sugar scrub, you can. Just substitute the peppermint essential oil for another essential oil…that’s what I do!
