Greener In 2020 … How I’m Making Better Choices

Greener Living In 2020 Brings About New Lasting Changes.

Good day, good people! It’s January 17, 2020. I cannot believe we are already in the New Year! The new decade if you ask some people,or even the end of the decade. I know that at the beginning of the year, everyone makes their New Year’s resolutions (Parade.com). Even I make my New Year resolutions… and I have a few of them this year. One of them is to focus more on my financial & business productivity. Another is,of course the standard go-to), to do better at increasing my healthy living practices. The last and main one I try so hard to do, but really fail at, is being greener and healthier to try to reduce my carbon footprint on Mother Earth.

I decided that I was going to help to lower my carbon footprint on the Earth by just taking some small steps and being greener at home. For starters, I am researching Bento Boxes and really considering buying myself a reusable cutlery set that I can carry on the go with my bento box. Look at the picture down below so you can understand what I’m saying. Because I’m pretty sure I’m explaining it the wrong way in with my words.

Little Changes Every Day Can Help

So now that you’ve seen the picture, you might have a better idea of what I’m talking about. I’m wanting to get these items so I can a be healthier by making my own food, and taking my meals out with me when I’m out on the go. And, at the same time, not use plasticware. Really, I just want to do better when it comes to living greener. I also want to start using my cloth tote bags. Plenty of them have been collected by me from all the expos and conventions that I attend throughout the year. So, I’m just going to start putting reusable bags in the trunks of both of my vehicles so that whenever I go shopping, I can have my reusable tote bags. That way, I won’t be using plastic or paper.

I’m going to try to buy more items in bulk, too. And, when I buy in bulk, I want to bring my own glass mason jars or small cloth bags instead of using the plastic bags at the stores. Because you know … practice makes perfect. And if I don’t start practicing it now, I’ll never start and the problems won’t ever be remedied. Now that I’ve gotten off of my “plastic hurts everything” soapbox, let’s hear from you guys. What do you think are some good ways to lower and/or reduce your carbon imprint on mother Earth?
