Is Dermarolling Next In Advanced Skincare Treatment ?

Getting wiser. Maturing. Gaining life experiences. Whatever way you want to call it,the results will be the same. Getting … old. If we’re lucky , we all do it. I used to say that “hated getting old”, but really I don’t. I just dislike some of the wear and tear looks that sometimes come with the process. You get the fine lines that become deep ones, the laugh lines that turn your smile into a frown… you know the ones. So what do we do? We buy the anti-aging skincare creams and serums and even go to doctors so they can help fill in or laser away the problem. But guess what ? There’s another way that you may be able to achieve the results that an expensive doctor can give you … and you can get it right at home. The process is called dermarolling  , and it’s an easy technique that has been known to have helped many .

What IS Dermarolling ?

Dermarolling, also known as Micro-Needling ,is  a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. Through the process of neovascularization and neocollagenesis, there is improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks. Needles ? What NEEDLES ?

Yes, dermarollers are chock full of needles. My particular roller has 540 of them ! But guess what ? There is NO PAIN and there is no blood. If there is pain or blood..you are doing it wrong . No really , you are. When you use your dermaroller, you don’t need to press hard on your skin to get effect or results. You would actually really injure yourself if you did that . You just simply roll . Vertically, Horizontally, and Diagonally… 10 times each way on each section of your face. The whole process should take no more than 10 minutes !

My Personal Use

I have personally been using a dermaroller on and off for about 1 month. I plan on now using my dermaroller 2-3 times a week for the next 4 weeks to be able to exact the true value and performance of the product.

UPDATE – I have been using dermarollers now for about 2 months. I have had any companies send me their own version of dermarollers now, so I think I may be a bit more knowledgeable of the product. So far, my two favorite ones to use are the Petunia and the Skin Secret dermarollers, although they both seem to be same thing (did I just say that ?) . I can say that for the allotted times I have used mine in the past 8 weeks, my skin has gotten smoother, softer, less stressed looking, and the small patch of hyper-pigmentation I had under my right eye dissipated . I feel that with continued use,I could help resolve more than a few of the facial problem that bother me. My video below shows how to use the Petunia Dermaroller …I hope you watch it ,and if you have any questions about the product.. Ask me ! I am also hosting a new Sponsored Giveaway in which there will be 6 total winners. 3 will win a dermaroller  for themselves, and 3 more will win a wonderful moisturizing vitamin C serum. These prizes are courtesy of Skin Secret

  1. This sounds like a unique procedure that i would love to try to eliminate or reduce some pores and stretch marks.

  2. I have read about this before a couple years ago on a Japanese website (it was in English) I hadnt read any reviews on it before and think it sounds interesting.

      1. I am using tamanu oil and having great results, so I’m hoping the one/two punch will fade it for good! Thanks for the chance.

  3. I have seen these but had no idea it was needles. I’ll be 54 next month and have skin that is starting to sag. Would the Dermaroller help to keep skin tight?

  4. Ive always wanted to try a dermaroller and see if it works. but it looks a bit scary. I’d have to get used to the idea

  5. I’ve never really thought much about my lines. I’ve got deep wrinkles already on my forehead. I started those at 25 and now that I’ll hit 40 in a couple months they are lots more prevalent. Perhaps something like this would be useful.
